Creating and managing projects in the web app.

Projects

Projects are the top-level container for your secrets. Each project typically represents one application or service.

Creating a Project

  1. Click the project dropdown in the header
  2. Click New Project
  3. Enter a project name (e.g., "my-api", "frontend")
  4. Optionally add a description
  5. Click Create

Your project is created with a default development environment.

Project Settings

Access project settings by clicking the gear icon next to the project name.

General Settings

  • Name: The display name of your project
  • Description: Optional description for documentation
  • Project ID: Unique identifier used by the CLI

Danger Zone

  • Delete Project: Permanently removes the project and all secrets

Deleting a project cannot be undone. Make sure to export your secrets first if needed.

Switching Projects

Use the project dropdown in the header to switch between projects. The currently selected project is displayed in the dropdown button.

Project List

The project dropdown shows all projects you have access to:

  • Projects you created
  • Projects shared with you by team members

On this page
